Door handle

Central Europe, first half of 17th century

Malleable iron. The vertical section of the handle is made of round iron bar with a central ring knob and ball terminal in the form of a mask. Smooth bar bracket. The entire surface is decorated with fine grooving. Backplate hammered into a rosette decorated with grooving and circular punch marks.
